The Conference of Northern California Handweavers was founded to further the art and appreciation of the craft of hand weaving, dyeing, basketmaking and spinning. CNCH sponsors an annual regional hand weaving and fiber arts conference. It features seminars, workshops, exhibits, shows and a marketplace.

HGA inspires creativity and encourages excellence in fiber artists.Their Textiles and Tea programs can be found online Tuesday afternoons. Once registered they will send you a link to your email address. HGA sponsors an International hand weaving and Fiber Arts Conference known as Convergence.

The ATA is a non-profit organization supporting the fine arts medium of the contemporary handwoven tapestry.​​​

 

Complex Weavers www.complex-weavers.org

​A group of weavers dedicated to expanding the boundaries of their hand-weaving, and that encourages members to develop their own creative style, inspiring others through research, documentation, and innovative ideas. Members challenge their skills and imagination by sharing information and innovations with fellow weaves - both directly and through study groups, seminars, and journal. Publishes an e-journal-Complex Weavers Journal three-times per year.  Sponsors a biennial conference in the even numbered years.
